Montana Sapphire Knife Edge Engagement Ring

Eco conscious framed in understated elegance.

When Evan visited our studio to create an engagement ring, he specified that the ring would need to be made out of sustainable sourced materials, and most importantly, it would need to capture his girlfriend Viki's taste in subtle, modern jewelry. The oval cut Montana Sapphire he selected was responsibly mined in the United States and a lovely center stone choice for its delicate shade of blue.

While he was designing the ring, Takayas wanted to showcase the Montana sapphire's unique color, so he decided to forgo a standard, rounded band with accent stones. Instead, he used a sleek knife edge band to highlight the center stone. The resulting angular shank blends into the bezel setting's cup to form one contemporary, fluid piece.
